October 1st, a new fiscal year, might as well be a new gaming year eh? I haven't blogged in a long time so I might just want to start gain a fresh and new and discuss what exactly i've been doing in the gaming world since its been over 3 years since I blogged.

Well i've pretty much retired from Everquest and my main RPG I play right now is Everquest 2. I have 6 characters and I pretty much play them evenly, although my main is still Bamlador, who is now a level 69 guardian with 122 AA. I log in every day and do my dailies quests and that's just about it for now.

I have a PS3 and I'm very big into gaming there. I'm focusing on two games right now:

Gran Tourismo 5: Of course this is Sony's popular racing simulation, with realistic tracks, outstanding graphics and wide array of automobiles.

I'm slowly progressing through the races. Not that its taking time, I just not prioritizing GT5 right now and playing more Everquest online. I have completed the Beginner and Amateur events and I have completed all but the Super-licences. I like to B-Spec on this game (B-Spec means coach a simulated event) I have a bad ass car (which came with the special edition of the game) and I just let the driver pretty much do whatever he wants and he usually wins laps ahead of the competition. Its a good way to unlock some cars, make some cash, and get some trophies while I do other things (read/play eq, etc)

So the current trophy I'm working on in this game is to win the Professional series of events.

The other game I'm working on in PS3 is Galaga Legions DX, a remake of the classic Galaga. Its fast paced and nothing like the game play of the old galaga other than the goal is to clear the field by shooting tons of other vessels. I'm actually 89% through the trophies on this game. I've beat all the levels of this game on Hard, and now I'm trying to complete all the Time Attack events for the final trophy. In the time attack events you need to clear the stage in the given time limit. I've finished 70.9% of the game and am really struggling to get the rest of these done (they're not exactly easy). If I finish this, Galaga Legions DX will be the first game I have 100% trophies on.

I've pretty much quit all the facebook games out there. I do however still regularly play Gourmet Ranch. I really like the goals and things behind this game and how its laid out. Grow something, cook with it, and then sell it. Its more direct than Farmvilles Bushel idea and Zynga hasn't totally ruined it since it took over, so I've enjoyed playing it. I even spend a bit of money now and again on keys. Currently (today actually leveled) I'm Level 102.

Ok so that's what's new in this. October 1st I'll start updating what's going on and stuff so I can keep track and maybe someone out there that gives a crap will learn or maybe find a challenge.
